paul rote I almost bought this ten times during the last few years. Never quite heavy enough. This is good quality AOR. Favorite track: Let it Go.

Topi Ken Kelly cover art! Brings back my teenage years... The 70's / early 80's style hard rock + Zeppelin cover that come with it are also nice. Favorite track: Let it Go.

Morts Something about this EP makes me think of the classic animated film Heavy Metal. I think it's a mixture of the cover graphics and the songs themselves which sound like they could have comfortably fit onto the brilliant soundtrack! Retro hard rock with killer solos that'll make you wish it was a full length album! Favorite track: Let it Go.

I am the lonely one I am the setting sun You are the empty stone My sword is driven home Pulled forth by one true king Cast back to the lake - I sing Of the once and forever king Avalon's lonely maidens sing Low burns the secret fire Shadows fall from men's desire Around us darkness grows A lady's hand no honour knows Can you say what quest you're on? Do you fathom a righteous song, Or do the dragons burn you down? An empty chair at the table round... I am the chosen one I am the wounded son There is an empty throne My crown has never known Claimed soon my one true king Sail on the horizon brings The once and forever king Avalon's lonely maidens sing...

about

Mountainous guitar rock from a mysterious band of blade bearers.

The Mountain Blades sharpened two songs and recorded them over a weekend simply to test their steel . We held on to them for long enough and figured it was time to let it go. For some extra booty there is a live version of an original entitled, "Once and Forever King", as well as a live cover of a Led Zep song.

This demo was recorded on an old school 8 track machine in a wood shack on an island somewhere. The fantasy art is by the famous Ken Kelly of KISS, Manowar, Ricthie Blackmore's Rainbow fame.

If you would like to hear more from this band, why not let a dollar go at the feet of the swordswoman?!

Who are the Mountain Blades? We'd rather not say and let the music speak for itself. Listen to this demo and share it with friends if you dig it.

We hope it turns you on.
